How does the league work? Number of games? House & travel tryouts?

House League
- 10 games regular season played on Saturdays. Playoffs may be in the middle of week.

Boys or Girls (not coed)

  • "A" League - 7 & 8 Grades
  • "B" League - 5 & 6 Grades
  • "C" League - 2, 3 & 4 Grades

High school league (games are played on Sundays and midweek)

  •   9 & 10 Boys
  • 11 & 12 Boys
  •   9 -- 12 Girls

Based upon enrollment. From time to time we may need to travel to play in an inter-league with anothe local league.

Travel League - 10 games regular season played on Sundays. Playoffs may be in the middle of week.  Practices are 2 times a week and additional team activities may be added during the week
. New Format starting 2016-2017 season.


  • Varsity - 6th to 8th Grades
  • JV -        6th to 7th Grades
  • 6th -      6th grade only

Representing Sterling Middle School for the advanced player that can handle the associated pressure.


Practices usually start mid November. Maybe sooner or later depending when the county releases gyms.

All practices start at 6:30 Monday through Friday at the local elementary and middle school. Day of week and time will depend on coach. Practices are 1.5 hours 1 day a week.


Starts first week in December and must end by second Saturday in March.

Start Mid to end of September and will be posted on the main page of Travel teams tryouts are held first. House League tryouts Start in early October.

How do I get a refund?

The League will refund all monies paid when it does not or is unable to assign a player to a team. Registration fees will be refunded as follows when a player is voluntarily withdrawn from the League:
  • 100% minus $20.00 nonrefundable processing fee until October 31st.
  • After the posted date above 0% No refunds.
  • All requests for refunds must be in the form of an email to
